Who runs Toread

Toread is run by one person, in Taiwan. Their legal name is being added to this page. It is a small service, not a company with a support desk — mail to the addresses below reaches one person.

A postal address will be published here with it; until then email is the way to reach us, and every address below is read.

Toread is in an invite-only beta and nothing is for sale yet, which is why the two facts above are still being settled rather than guessed at.

Who sells the subscriptions

Paid plans are sold through Lemon Squeezy, which is the merchant of record — the legal seller on your receipt. Lemon Squeezy takes your payment details, charges and remits the tax your country requires, and issues the invoice. Toread never sees a card number. The documents

• Copyright and takedowns: /copyright — how a rightsholder asks for something to be removed, and how a publisher opts out of being fetched.

Law and disputes

The terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan (Republic of China), and a dispute about them goes to the Taiwan Taipei District Court — but if you are a consumer you keep the protections of the law where you live and may go to your own courts.
