Save from anywhere

The Toread extension saves the tab you are on in one click, in Chrome, Firefox, Arc, Brave, Dia and Edge. Toread for Raycast does the same from your keyboard.

Get the extension

Then connect it in Settings → Extensions.

Folders, nested as deep as you like

Drag a save onto a folder in the sidebar to file it. Folders nest, reorder when you drag them, and take one of 79 icons or any emoji, in nine colours.

The daily brief

A few minutes, spoken, on what you saved: written for the ear rather than the page. Play it in Toread or follow it in your podcast app.

Toread in 繁體中文 and 简体中文

Toread already translated what you save. Now its own buttons, menus and messages read in Traditional or Simplified Chinese too. Pick one in Settings → Language.

The smaller things, newest first.

    • NewEvery tag in one place, under Tags in the sidebar, with rename, merge and delete.
    • NewGive a tag one of nine colours. New tags start grey.
    • NewClick a tag anywhere to see everything with it, or find it from ⌘ K.
    • NewAdd and remove tags on an item from its Info panel.
    • NewClean up tags suggests merges and fixes, and changes only what you tick.
    • NewChoose a face for your Ex libris plate when you first sign in, and it stays in the header.
    • NewPlates are numbered in the order readers joined, from #0001.
